Privacy Notice

1. Your personal data – what is it?

Personal data is any information about a living individual which allows them to be identified from that data (for example a name, photographs, videos, email address, or address). Identification can be by the information alone or in conjunction with any other information.

The processing of personal data is governed by the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), which is a set of EU-wide data protection rules that were brought into UK law as the Data Protection Act 2018.

In celebration of our tenth anniversary year, we are launching our Fellowships. These are awarded for exceptional contributions to Christian creativity, and entitle the recipient to all the privileges of a lifetime ArtServe membership.

ArtServe's bank details

To make direct bank transfer payments to ArtServe via online banking, please use the following details:

HSBC, 8 Victoria Street, London, SW1H 0NJ
Account name: Christian Creativity Ltd
Sort code: 40-07-13
Account no: 71872907

Confirmation of Payee

During 2020, the banks will be introducing the system whereby direct payments will need to quote the recipient's account name. We understand that 'Artserve', 'Christian Creativity' and 'Christian Creativity Ltd' will all be acceptable for this purpose. If asked to specify, ours is a business account not a personal account.

We understand that Confirmation of Payee applies only to new payees. So if you have an existing standing order or regular payment, you should not need to change anything.

As of March 2020, HSBC hadn't announced when Confirmation of Payee will be introduced; the banks aren't all implementing it at the same time.

Please quote a reference

If you are paying your subscription please quote your membership reference so that it appears on our bank statement. If you are a new member, it's helpful if you can contact and ask for a membership reference to be allocated before you make the payment.

Members, log in to see your membership reference here.

If you are paying for an event booking please quote your booking reference or the title of the event.

If you are paying for an ArtServe award please quote 'Awards' as the reference.

ArtServe was an initiative of the former Methodist Church Music Society (MCMS), which started life in 1935 as a fellowship of Methodist organists and choirmasters. At that time, not only were these the only people in most churches with any responsibility for music, but also music was almost the sole art form regularly used in worship.
